The Eviti Solution

A report

from PR Newswire published on February 27, 2017 reports that Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), through the Clinical Pathways program, has teamed up with Allscripts and NantHealth to implement a new technical support solution. The solution is supposed to enable eviti, a NantHealth clinical support solution, access to critical documents in the Allscripts electronic health record (EHR). This solution helps to provide pertinent information for the process of cancer treatment while leaving the physician’s daily workflow uninterrupted.

Clinical Pathways ensures the best treatment options by providing the most sophisticated cancer research, therapies, and scheduled treatments into the Allscripts Sunrise EHR. It also calls for excellence around therapeutic care delivery, while holding the quality and efficiency of care to the highest standards.

CTCA, along with Allscripts and Nanthealth, has been planning the integration of the eviti solution since 2016. As a result, physicians now have access to a vast, unbiased, evidence-based medical library that provides the necessary knowledge to help improve the regimen selection and ordering process for chemotherapy patients and providers.

Cancer Treatment Centers of America Global, Inc. is a network of five hospitals, located in Boca Raton, Florida, which helps patients battle cancer. CTCA offers state-of-the-art cancer treatment options that include genomic testing, precision cancer treatment, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, and surgery. CTCA’s evidence-informed therapies are designed to help patients by managing their quality of life, and managing the side-effects from post-cancer treatments. Currently, CTCA serves patients at their hospitals in Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Tulsa.
